How does the git conflict helper work?

Paste your file containing git conflict markers ( >>>>>) and the tool parses each conflict block, showing both versions side by side with syntax highlighting and one-click resolution options.

Does it handle nested conflicts?

Yes. The parser handles multiple conflict blocks in a single file, including adjacent conflicts. Each block is resolved independently.

Can I resolve conflicts automatically?

You can choose to accept the current branch (ours), incoming branch (theirs), or both for each conflict. The tool then generates the resolved file content.

Does it support binary file conflicts?

No. The helper is designed for text-based merge conflicts. Binary file conflicts need to be resolved using git checkout --ours or --theirs.
